There was a "Community Information Forum", presented by the GUHSD on Wednesday, October 28th at the Alpine Elementary School auditorium...

At this forum we learned about the new high school planned for the Lazy A site in Alpine; 

We heard from Grossmont Union High School District's (GUHSD) Superintendent, Mr. Robert Collins, and his staff, about the vision for the new Alpine and Blossom Valley area high school, and

1)  We were introduced to the committee working on the new school including your representatives from Alpine. The committee presented the guiding principles that will provide the ground work for the school’s technology driven curriculum and design.

2)  We were given a presentation by the architectural team about the initial design concepts for the school that will fit in with the beautiful but challenging Lazy A site.

3)  We learned about the many potential joint uses for the school that will provide a multifunctional campus serving the entire community...
